Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
These terms govern your use of Zoho Middleware (the "service"), provided at this domain. By requesting an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use the service for a company, you confirm you're authorized to accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
The service lets your applications access Zoho Creator, Zoho CRM, Zoho Projects and Zoho Bookings through a single REST API. It stores your Zoho API credentials and tokens and calls Zoho on your behalf. The service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Zoho Corporation. "Zoho" is a trademark of Zoho Corporation.
2. Accounts
- You can create an account yourself with your email address and a password. You start on the Free plan. We may refuse or close accounts that break these terms.
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for everything done with your account and API keys. Keep your password and keys confidential, and revoke a key immediately if it leaks.
- One person or organization per account. Don't share or resell access without our written permission.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law, or use the service to process data you have no right to process;
- send spam, malware or content that infringes others' rights;
- try to access other workspaces, probe or bypass security, rate limits or plan limits;
- overload the service or use it in a way that could get it blocked by Zoho;
- violate Zoho's terms of service or API usage policies.
4. Your Zoho accounts and data
You may only connect Zoho accounts you own or are authorized to use, and you're responsible for the scopes you grant. You keep all rights to your data; you give us permission to process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. Zoho's own limits (API credits, rate limits, downtime) apply and are outside our control.
5. Plans & payment
| Plan | Includes |
|---|---|
| Free | Zoho CRM only, up to 10 API requests per workspace per day (UTC). |
| Paid | All services (Creator, CRM, Projects, Bookings) and unlimited API requests, for the listed price per 30 days. |
- To upgrade, request the Paid plan under Plan in your workspace. We email you the PayPal payment details. Payment is made in advance; after paying, click I've paid (optionally with the PayPal transaction ID). An administrator verifies the payment and activates the Paid plan, usually within one business day.
- Plans don't renew automatically. To keep the Paid plan, pay again before the paid-until date. If you pay early, the new period is added to the end of the current one.
- When a paid period ends, your workspace returns to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted, but services outside the Free plan stop responding until you renew.
- Prices are shown before you pay and may exclude taxes or fees charged by PayPal or your bank. We may change prices for future periods; a change never affects a period you've already paid for.
- "Unlimited" means no daily quota from us. Fair use still applies, and Zoho's own API limits still apply.
6. Refunds
- If we can't activate your Paid plan, or you paid twice by mistake, we refund the payment in full.
- If you're not satisfied, you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of the first activation of the Paid plan. After that, and for renewals, payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
- If we end the service or terminate your account without cause, we refund the unused part of your current paid period.
- Refunds are sent to the original PayPal payment. To request one, contact us with your transaction ID.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change, add or remove features. For a material change that affects the Paid plan, we'll give reasonable notice.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for problems caused by Zoho, your apps or your configuration. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or remains unpaid, and where possible we'll tell you why first. On deletion, your Zoho tokens are revoked and your workspace data is removed.
10. Changes to these terms, and contact
We may update these terms. We'll change the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
